LEARN ABOUT THE BRIDGE PROGRAMS
The Bridge serves a critical role as our community's 24-hour access point for services for youth and families in need, directly accessible without waiting lists, fees, or red tape. Each year the demands grow, with increasingly complex cases in our emergency shelter, need for transitional and permanent housing, and the challenge of service reductions out in the community. With a dedicated staff and strong support from the community, we help hundreds of youth each year get off the street, into safe shelter and on to a better life.
CRISIS A safe place in a storm
Youth on the streets are especially vulnerable; often approached for sex in exchange for money or a place to stay within only 48 hours of being on the street.

TRANSITION to healing and recovery
Many who come to us have had a lifetime of betrayal by the adults in their lives. When asked what they most want in life, they’ll answer “an adult in my life I can trust.”

REBUILDING Strength and Stability
Friendship and understanding, hope for building a better life, assistance in completing education, these are the supports young people who stay at The Bridge need to begin to realize their potential.
