Welcome Lisa Mears, the New Executive Director at The Bridge for Youth
I am deeply honored to join The Bridge for Youth as Executive Director. I have long admired that the work of The Bridge for Youth is rooted in community and is highly responsive to the diverse needs of young people in crisis.
I am tremendously motivated to join together with you – local, state, and national supporters and partners – to assure immediate safety for homeless and runaway youth, provide emergency shelter, prepare young people for independent living, and reconnect them with family or other caring adults in their lives. From my own experience, this mission is deeply personal. It is about safety in the moment and hope for the future for our community’s most vulnerable young people. Together, we will do just that.
We at The Bridge for Youth need you now more than ever. Youth who were vulnerable and in crisis before COVID-19 need us now more than ever. I wholeheartedly believe that – collectively – we can do more than individually. I look forward to connecting with you to advance the mission of The Bridge for Youth. I welcome your call or email and hope to meet you soon!
Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors, The Bridge impacts the lives of thousands of youth and families. Please consider making a gift today to help ensure the vital assistance we provide is available now and into the future.

2020 Marks the 50th Anniversary of The Bridge for Youth!
To celebrate this anniversary, every month throughout the year we will highlight Faces of 50 recognizing some of the thousands of individuals who were impacted by The Bridge and who have contributed to our efforts to serve homeless and runaway youth.
